| STEP 1 — Enter Your Project Area The calculator requires three measurements: length, width, and depth. Depth is the thickness of material required and is commonly 2–6 inches depending on the project. Material can settle and compact, so you may want to add 5–10% depending on the job. STEP 2 — Click “Calculate” The calculator will automatically convert the dimensions to: Total Cubic Yards. Cubic yards are what you’ll reference when ordering material. STEP 3 — Use the Cubic Yards to Estimate Your Order Most aggregate materials are sold by the cubic yard. Use the calculator’s results to determine how many yards you need. STEP 4 — Request Pricing or Schedule Delivery Once you know the cubic yards: Call For Pricing Request Estimate |
